The Opportunity

We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our Adult Community Mental Health Team in Wangaratta. 

The incumbent will work within a multidisciplinary Team environment providing recovery orientated care to our client group. Our focus is on wellness and our clients may be in the acute stage of their contact with our service, or they may have more ongoing needs. The Primary responsibilities of this position are to provide effective, safe and client focused care, with the client at the forefront of the care provided and within the enrolled nurse scope of practice.

Selection Criteria
  • Mandatory : Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Mandatory : A minimum of four (4) years post registration experience as an Enrolled Nurse.
  • Mandatory : To demonstrate competence in comprehensive mental health assessment, associated risk screening and management.
  • Mandatory : Demonstrated ability to function independently and within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Mandatory : Sound knowledge of the Victorian Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022, NSW Mental Health Act and other relevant legislation and its application to clinical practice on the Victorian NSW border.
  • Mandatory : Demonstrated experience of working in a community mental health service setting or shows other relevant experience along with fundamental understanding of community orientated practice.
  • Mandatory : A current car drivers license
